Kingdom Living is the culmination of over a decade of ministry at Oakland University. Through a dedication to teaching, discipleship, and equipping ministries in Oakland University, we have been blessed to see over eighty young men and women discipled. Who are now living for Christ and making a difference for His name.

In our experience at Oakland university we’ve found that students are looking for something that is authentic, trustworthy, and worth living for. We believe that what Jesus said two thousand years ago holds true today

“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” We believe that it is only in surrender that we find a life worth living.

As an organization our model is simple, you reap what you sow. In chapter six of Galatians Paul tells us “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life”. What we sow determines the harvest that we will produce. Those who sow of the flesh should not be surprised that they reap destruction. Those who sow of the spirit are given a beautiful harvest, eternity with the Lord. In our ministry we are committed to being diligent and faithful sowers of God’s word so that we may experience a harvest for the kingdom.

Through a range of programs and initiatives, our ministry focuses on providing spiritual formation, mentorship, and ministry skill development opportunities tailored to the unique needs and challenges faced by today’s young adults.
